That can range from providing temporary summer storage space in Boston to shipping your furniture and other small load items either back home overseas or to your next stop after graduation.”

Boston Pack and Ship specializes in student shipments of less than 1,000 pounds—parameters that can cover a lot of different items. For students shipping fragile items like computer monitors, stereo equipment and other pieces, Boston Pack and Ship uses foam-in-place technology as well as customized packages and crates to minimize movement and dramatically reduce the possibility of damage during shipping.

“When it comes to moving, international students have very specific needs and that’s why we created this special division,” said Fell. “If by offering temporary storage and our small load shipping capabilities can make easier what can be an incredibly stressful process—managing your stuff between two residences in two separate countries—we’re happy to provide the service.”

Boston Pack and Ship offers multiple U.S. shipping options including ground, air, delivery to a terminal for pickup or inside delivery. International options include air or ocean with door-to-door or door-to-port delivery. Full declared value is available on both domestic and international shipments. Pick-up of items to be packed and shipped for delivery is made by appointment.
