That $100 Shipping Hack You’ve Heard Doesn’t Always Work

June 10, 2015 by admin

Lots of people have been talking about Melia Robinson's success in shipping her stuff from NYC to San Francisco for just $100. It's certainly a creative cost-containment strategy, but it doesn't work for everyone and every long distance move, and we'd like to take a moment to explain why. First: Melia gave away a lot of her stuff before she moved - namely her furniture. Sometimes this is a … [Read more...]

Record Breaking Snowfall Makes DIY Boston Moving Nearly Impossible

February 10, 2015 by admin

Even the strongest of the Boston Strong are having a tough time with the weather lately. Storm after storm has dumped a record shattering 70+ inches on the city, closing schools and even the T. Sidewalks and streets are in many cases still clogged with snow - you can make it through, but barely. "My Mother always said I had terrible timing," laughed Margaret. She's in the process of packing up … [Read more...]

September 16, 2014 by admin

The news you can now access Netflix in France is likely to be of interest to only two groups of people: investors and people who live in France. There's been an awful lot of chatter recently about big brands (why, yes, Burger King, we're talking about you!) moving overseas to avoid the tax ramifications of keeping their headquarters in the US. Boston International Movers: Making a Complex Job Simple

September 5, 2014 by admin

"When we got the news that Glenn would be teaching in France, we were so excited," Sylvie said. "But I have to admit to a sense of complete overwhelm when it comes to arranging the logistics of an international move. There's so much involved, even though we have a small household. "I used Boston Pack and Ship to move 35 boxes and 5 other items from Quincy, MA to Columbus, OH. Nothing required any real special handling, just the usual stuff, some of which was fragile. The shipment and delivery was seamless. The initial pick up was great, the guys came when they said they would. The delivery date was to be between three and six weeks and it was three weeks on the dot—maybe even a day earlier. The whole process was so efficient and I was kept informed all along the way as to timing of the delivery. First several days before and then again the day before along with a four-hour window of time. Although I haven't had the opportunity to recommend Boston Pack and Ship, I would certainly do so without hesitation!"

I used Boston Pack and Ship to send an antique piece of furniture from Boston to Sedona, AZ. I can't say enough about their service and the quality of the packing. Item arrived on the day they said it would and was in pristine condition. Easy to work with and great customer service. Highly recommend.

I hired Boston Pack and Ship to move two items from my storage unit in the Boston area to my home in Florida. Gene Sullivan was 110% responsive. He picked up the items on time, packed them expertly; and they arrived in perfect condition about ten days after pick up. I could not ask for better service. Five stars is not enough!

We at Casey Movers do not hesitate to refer our customers to this business for shipments we do not think we are best suited for (smaller inter-state shipments under 3,000lbs, etc). Have had great feedback from clients that have utilized this service. Thank you from all at Casey Movers for providing top notch service and have a great new year!
