Tips for a Successful Student Move

December 26, 2010 by admin

One of the best things about the holiday season is having your kids come home from school.  They come back, loaded down with their new-found experiences and confidence, to spend time with parents, siblings, and friends -- not to mention a bag or two of laundry!  They also come home with a list of things they'll need to make the spring semester better, more comfortable, and more productive.  What's … [Read more...]

A Baby Boomer’s tribute to Boston Pack and Ship

December 10, 2010 by admin

It’s a fact of life that people are living longer. For Baby Boomers with elderly parents, that fact can turn your world upside down in a split second. Case in point, the testimonial below: “In August, my 83-year-old father fell down the cellar stairs and broke his elbow. Following elbow replacement surgery in Boston he was transferred to skilled nursing care in West Bridgewater. Unfortunately, … [Read more...]

Boston:Moving Your Small Business or Office

December 1, 2010 by admin

In the halls of Congress, staffers are busily packing (or unpacking!) boxes. They're arranging files in the filing cabinets, placing the furniture carefully, and trying to figure out, where, in the twisted halls of the Congressional offices, one goes to get rid of cardboard boxes. Moving an office is no small job -- and if you don't have a host of eager aides and interns who are thrilled to … [Read more...]

Making Small Moves Easy In Boston

October 13, 2010 by admin

There are lots of things to love about Boston -- the people, the culture, the Red Sox and Patriots -- but there's one thing that can make life a little challenging.  Yes, we're talking about that infamous Boston traffic.  Factor in the maze of narrow one-way streets, roundabouts, and drivers who are paying more attention to their Blackberry than the road and you can see why moving in Boston is … [Read more...]

The leased we can do…Boston Pack and Ship safely returns leased equipment

February 8, 2010 by admin

Leasing computers, copiers and other office equipment provides a very attractive option for many small- to mid-sized companies. Besides price, leasing gives businesses an opportunity to upgrade equipment without a long-term commitment—or remove units if a company has downsized. When a lease expires, however, the responsibility of shipping the equipment back to the leasing company falls on the … [Read more...]

"Working in support services for a large law firm, I consistently turn to Boston Pack and Ship for assistance in moving heavy equipment to our satellite offices, both in the U.S. and overseas. The shipments arrive in excellent condition, in a timely manner and are delivered professionally. Whenever we ship a large quantity of files to other offices, the most cost-effective method is to give them to Boston Pack and Ship and let them handle it. Without Boston Pack & ship backing me up, my job would be close to impossible."

I hired Boston Pack and Ship to move two items from my storage unit in the Boston area to my home in Florida. Gene Sullivan was 110% responsive. He picked up the items on time, packed them expertly; and they arrived in perfect condition about ten days after pick up. I could not ask for better service. Five stars is not enough!
