The South Shore Small Move: Save Money, Less Stress

October 22, 2013 by admin

"When I was younger, I tried to look at each move as a new adventure. The places we'd go! The people we'd meet!" Lolly M. laughed. "But after you've relocated 3 or 4 times, some of the shiny wears off. Now, I want the moves to be quick, simple, and stress free." Lolly and her husband, a surgeon, have kept their lifestyle 'purposefully minimalistic' due to their frequent moves. "We have what we … [Read more...]

Making Small Moves Easy In Boston

October 13, 2010 by admin

There are lots of things to love about Boston -- the people, the culture, the Red Sox and Patriots -- but there's one thing that can make life a little challenging.  Yes, we're talking about that infamous Boston traffic.  Factor in the maze of narrow one-way streets, roundabouts, and drivers who are paying more attention to their Blackberry than the road and you can see why moving in Boston is … [Read more...]

"I needed to bring a few pieces of furniture from my parents' home in Connecticut to my home in Watertown and move a few additional pieces to Bethesda, Maryland. This was not a large project, but complicated to arrange. I had to go to southern Connecticut in order to meet the moving truck, which involved coordinating my schedule with their availability and then arrange for the drop-off at each end of the move. In spite of my schedule constraints on my part, waffling (on my part) and the overall complexity of the task at hand, Joe Fell [of Boston Pack and Ship] was invariably helpful, responsive and patient. In the end, the move went smoothly and I very much appreciated their efforts."

I used Boston Pack and Ship to send an antique piece of furniture from Boston to Sedona, AZ. I can't say enough about their service and the quality of the packing. Item arrived on the day they said it would and was in pristine condition. Easy to work with and great customer service. Highly recommend.

I hired Boston Pack and Ship to move two items from my storage unit in the Boston area to my home in Florida. Gene Sullivan was 110% responsive. He picked up the items on time, packed them expertly; and they arrived in perfect condition about ten days after pick up. I could not ask for better service. Five stars is not enough!
