"Being a small business owner is tough," Jared M., who owns a specialty glass and mirror shop said. "The margins are miniscule. For a long time,  I thought I was saving money by handling all of my shipping in house. But one day, my accountant sat me down and said, "Listen, between breakage in the shop and all the replacements you're having to make when mirrors arrive broken, you're getting into … [Read more...]

Are You Paying Too Much To Move Your Stuff?

June 10, 2013 by admin

"Man, I never knew how expensive moving was!" Randi laughed. "I guess being a military brat just sort of blinds you to the fact that civilians have to pay to send their furniture halfway around the world." Now that she's on her own, Randi has retained the military-inspired tendency to travel light. "It's just me, and I only have what I consider to be the essential stuff: a bed, a dresser, a … [Read more...]

Long Distance Moving Companies in Massachusetts

"I used Boston Pack and Ship to move a dining room hutch from my sister-in-law's house in Wellesley, Massachusetts to my apartment in New York City. The process was really quick and easy. I spoke with Bill Yankee on a Thursday, and I had my piece delivered the following Wednesday. My sister-in-law said the pick up on her side was quick and seamless. I was given a specific two-hour time frame and the movers were on time. They even helped reassemble part of the furniture. Throughout the process Bill was communicative and had great follow up. I didn't need to chase him down, and when I had a question, he was available or responded immediately."

I hired Boston Pack and Ship to move two items from my storage unit in the Boston area to my home in Florida. Gene Sullivan was 110% responsive. He picked up the items on time, packed them expertly; and they arrived in perfect condition about ten days after pick up. I could not ask for better service. Five stars is not enough!
