Don’t Let International Shipping Stop Your Small Business Growth

December 6, 2021 by admin

"I launched my business during the pandemic, just like everyone else," Dashawn said. "But unlike everyone else, I don't know how to do certain things. When I got my first big order from Great Britian, of course I was excited. But on the other hand, how do I ship products internationally affordably?" When you're running your own business, there's always a learning curve involved. Shipping is … [Read more...]

Shipping Musical Instruments – The Do’s And Don’ts

September 15, 2021 by admin

Don't: Use T-Shirts, crumpled up newspaper, or recycled air pillows as packing material when shipping musical instruments. The choice of packing material is critical in ensuring your musical instruments are safe while they are being transported. Packing materials are chosen to keep the instrument from shifting inside the box during transit. They're also used to provide support to the instrument … [Read more...]

Shipping Stressing You Out? Don’t Sweat It!

June 25, 2013 by admin

"They say that days are longer in the summer, but I don't believe it," Mavis said. "There's just not enough time in the day to get everything done that I need to do.  Everybody's getting married, and that means shopping for gifts, and that takes time, and then you've got to ship everything. That means you've got to find all these boxes, and somehow get the packing materials - where do they even … [Read more...]

Are You Paying Too Much To Move Your Stuff?

June 10, 2013 by admin

"Man, I never knew how expensive moving was!" Randi laughed. "I guess being a military brat just sort of blinds you to the fact that civilians have to pay to send their furniture halfway around the world." Now that she's on her own, Randi has retained the military-inspired tendency to travel light. "It's just me, and I only have what I consider to be the essential stuff: a bed, a dresser, a … [Read more...]

May 24, 2013 by admin

Tonight, you may notice that the moon is brighter and larger than usual. That's because it's what astronomers call a Supermoon - an event where the moon's orbit is just a little closer than normal. It'll  be beautiful, and it's a great chance to do some lunar observations. If you're an astronomer, of the backyard or professional variety, you may need to ship a telescope or other celestial … [Read more...]

Planet Friendly Shipping: What’s Really Involved?

March 28, 2013 by admin

"I'm very, very concerned about the health of our planet," Morgan said. "That's why I use recycled boxes to ship everything I sell on eBay. Newspapers  work very well as packing materials if you use enough of them!" There's only one problem with Morgan's plan to save the planet using recycled shipping materials. The boxes he rescued from the local liquor store turned out to break under … [Read more...]

"I used Boston Pack and Ship to move a dining room hutch from my sister-in-law's house in Wellesley, Massachusetts to my apartment in New York City. The process was really quick and easy. I spoke with Bill Yankee on a Thursday, and I had my piece delivered the following Wednesday. My sister-in-law said the pick up on her side was quick and seamless. I was given a specific two-hour time frame and the movers were on time. They even helped reassemble part of the furniture. Throughout the process Bill was communicative and had great follow up. I didn't need to chase him down, and when I had a question, he was available or responded immediately."

I used Boston Pack and Ship to send an antique piece of furniture from Boston to Sedona, AZ. I can't say enough about their service and the quality of the packing. Item arrived on the day they said it would and was in pristine condition. Easy to work with and great customer service. Highly recommend.

I hired Boston Pack and Ship to move two items from my storage unit in the Boston area to my home in Florida. Gene Sullivan was 110% responsive. He picked up the items on time, packed them expertly; and they arrived in perfect condition about ten days after pick up. I could not ask for better service. Five stars is not enough!
